USDA Organic CBD Products
The term “USDA Organic” is used to identify product produced by a process that has been certified by the US Department of Agriculture to qualify as organic farming. In order for hemp and CBD oil to qualify for the USDA Organic certification, the products must meet certain standards for growing, storage, processing, packaging and shipping, including avoidance of synthetic substances such as chemical fertilizers and pesticides, as well as genetically modified seeds. In order to maintain USDA Organic certification, a facility must undergo periodic on-site inspections.
